All Auto & Machinery — Limited Warranty & Disclaimer
All Auto & Machinery ("the Shop") stands behind the quality of its workmanship. This limited warranty applies only to repairs and services performed by the Shop and is subject to the terms and exclusions below.
Limited Warranty
Labor Warranty
The Shop warrants the labor on repairs it performs for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the date of the original invoice. If a repair fails due to faulty workmanship within this period, the Shop will correct the covered labor at no additional charge for that labor, provided the vehicle is returned to the Shop for inspection and repair.
Parts Warranty
Parts supplied and installed by the Shop are covered only by the applicable parts manufacturer's warranty, if any. The Shop passes through the manufacturer's warranty terms and does not provide any separate or additional warranty on parts. Warranty claims on defective parts are subject to the manufacturer's inspection, approval, and terms, including any limits on labor reimbursement.
Customer-Supplied Parts
When a customer provides their own parts for installation, the Shop warrants only the labor to install those parts. The Shop makes no warranty of any kind on customer-supplied parts, including their quality, fitment, condition, or suitability. If a customer-supplied part is defective or fails, any resulting repair, re-installation labor, diagnostic time, or related costs are the customer's responsibility.
Used / Salvage Parts
On occasion, and only with customer knowledge, the Shop may install used or salvage parts. Used and salvage parts are provided and installed "AS IS" with no warranty whatsoever on the part itself. In these cases the Shop warrants only the labor to install the part. The customer accepts all risk associated with the use, performance, and lifespan of used or salvage parts.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage or failure caused by misuse, abuse, accident, collision, negligence, racing, off-road use, or improper operation.
- Damage resulting from failure to perform recommended or routine maintenance.
- Normal wear-and-tear items, including but not limited to belts, hoses, brake pads and shoes, clutches, wiper blades, filters, fluids, tires, and light bulbs, except as covered by a parts manufacturer's warranty.
- Repairs, adjustments, or alterations performed by any party other than the Shop after the original service.
- Pre-existing conditions or related component failures not part of the original repair.
- Consequential, incidental, or secondary damages, including towing, rental vehicles, lost time, lost wages, lost profits, or inconvenience.
- Any repair the customer declined or deferred when recommended by the Shop, or any work performed against the Shop's written advice.
- Parts supplied by the customer and used or salvage parts, except for the installation labor as stated above.
Warranty Conditions
- The original repair invoice must be presented to make a warranty claim.
- The vehicle must be returned to All Auto & Machinery for inspection before any warranty work is authorized. Repairs performed elsewhere without the Shop's prior written approval are not reimbursable.
- The warranty is limited to the repair of the covered defect and does not renew or extend the original warranty period.
- This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer and vehicle listed on the invoice.
- The Shop's total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the amount paid for the original repair.
Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the above limited warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by All Auto & Machinery. THE SHOP EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, EXCEPT AS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
Estimates are approximate and based on the information available at the time. Additional parts, labor, or repairs discovered during service will be communicated to the customer for approval before work proceeds, and may affect the final cost. Diagnostic findings are based on the symptoms present at the time of inspection; intermittent or hidden conditions may not be detectable.
The Shop is not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle. Vehicles and equipment are left at the customer's own risk. The Shop is not liable for loss or damage due to fire, theft, vandalism, weather, or any cause beyond its reasonable control.
A storage fee may be assessed on vehicles not picked up within a reasonable period after the customer is notified that work is complete. The Shop may retain a lien on the vehicle for unpaid charges as permitted by California law.
Customer Acknowledgment
By authorizing repairs, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this warranty and disclaimer, including the limitations on customer-supplied parts and used or salvage parts.
